James Harden says he is not focused on personal glory after becoming the Los Angeles Clippers' franchise leader in triple-doubles.

The Clippers beat the Dallas Mavericks 133-127 in a double-overtime win, with Harden scoring four of his 10 overtime points in the second extra period.

He finished with season highs of 41 points and 14 rebounds along with 11 assists, marking the 82nd triple-double of his career.

He is the first Clippers player with a 40-point triple-double and the oldest NBA player to record such a feat.

"I just play and try to win games," he said of the achievement. "You put the work in, things happen like that.

"All glory to God, just keep going and just keep chipping away."

Ivica Zubac also added a season-high 27 points and 11 rebounds to help the Clippers, who are 4-8 this season, snap a six-game losing streak and improve to 2-0 in the NBA Cup.

This win was, in fact, Los Angeles' first since their last NBA Cup game, when they beat the New Orleans Pelicans 126-124 back at the start of November.

"We just continue to fight," Harden said of the win itself.

"S*** has not been going well for us, but we are still going to be resilient. We are still going to fight. And tonight was one of those cases.

"We have the abilities, as long as we continue to fight. Everything is not always going to be pretty, but this was a good start for us. The first game of a long road trip, so let's take it one game at a time."
