Thunder star Williams out multiple weeks due to hamstring
The Oklahoma City Thunder will be without one of their top players until February after Jalen Williams was diagnosed with a right hamstring strain on Monday.
Williams was injured in the second quarter of Saturday's 122-120 loss to the Miami Heat, and the team said he was dealing with right thigh soreness.
Two days later, the NBA-best Thunder (35-8) said they would "see where Jalen Williams is at with his right hamstring strain in a couple of weeks."
It's possible he could be out through the All-Star break, which begins February 13.
Per Thunder PR, OKC will see where Jalen Williams is at with his right hamstring strain in a couple of weeks.

Williams was a first-time All-Star and named to the All-Defensive second team and All-NBA third team last season in helping the Thunder capture the NBA championship.
In 24 games this season, the 24-year-old is averaging 16.8 points, a career-high 5.6 assists and 4.8 rebounds.
This is the second prolonged absence of the season for Williams, who missed Oklahoma City's first 19 games while recovering from wrist surgery.
With Williams out, the Thunder will likely lean on Ajay Mitchell for more offense. The second-year guard is fourth on the team in scoring at 14.2 points per game.
