Antetokounmpo injured as Cavaliers rally past Bucks
Milwaukee Bucks star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo sustained a left groin strain on Monday during his team’s 118-106 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Antetokounmpo exited late in the second quarter and did not return, finishing with 14 points, five rebounds and four assists. The Bucks did not give a timetable for Antetokounmpo’s return, but he will undergo further testing on Tuesday.
“We won’t know anything until tomorrow. It didn’t look great, I can tell you that,” Milwaukee coach Doc Rivers said after the game.
Rivers told reporters that Antetokounmpo likely sustained the injury earlier in the game but tried to play through it.
The Bucks trailed by one when Antetokounmpo exited but were unable to keep pace without their superstar in the second half.
Donovan Mitchell led the way for Cleveland with 37 points and seven assists, while Sam Merrill hit six 3-pointers to get to 20 points.
Giannis Antetokounmpo (left groin strain) will not return to tonight's game.

Duren helps Pistons extend streak
Jalen Duren had 31 points and 15 rebounds in his return from injury, and the Detroit Pistons handled the Indiana Pacers 127-112 to extend their winning streak to 10 games.
Duren, who had missed the previous two games with a sprained right ankle, was 12 for 13 shooting from the field as the Pistons outscored the Pacers in the paint 66-48.

Bulls cool Nuggets to end skid
Nikola Vucevic and Kevin Huerter each hit a crucial 3-pointer down the stretch, and the Chicago Bulls hung on to beat the Denver Nuggets 130-127, ending their five-game losing streak and the Nuggets’ seven-game winning streak.
Chicago led by as many as 18 in the first half and allowed a 13-point fourth-quarter lead to evaporate before securing the victory and overcoming another triple-double from Nikola Jokić.
After Jokić had put the Nuggets ahead in the previous possession, Huerter made a triple to put the Bulls up 121-120 with 1:25 remaining. Vucevic’s 3-pointer with 33 seconds left put Chicago up 126-122.
Josh Giddey finished with 21 points, 14 rebounds and six assists for the Bulls, while Ayo Dosunmu also had 21 off the bench on 8-for-9 shooting.
Jokić dazzled again with 36 points, 18 rebounds and 13 assists but was 13 of 27 from the field – just his second game this season shooting under 50 percent.
Jamal Murray had 34 points and 11 rebounds for the Nuggets. Cameron Johnson scored a season-high 19 points and was 5 for 7 from 3-point range after entering the game shooting 21.1 percent from deep.
The Bulls’ bench outscored the Nuggets' bench 66-9.
