T20 World Cup: Hardik stars as India register record win against Namibia
India made it two wins from two to kickstart their T20 World Cup title defence as they cruised to a 93-run victory over Namibia at Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Hardik Pandya followed up Ishan Kishan's 61 with a score of 52 to get his team on their way before taking two wickets to help India claim their biggest win at a T20 World Cup.
After being put into bat by Namibia, Kishan and Sanju Samson got India up and running before the latter fell in the second over after plundering 22 from just eight balls.
Tilak Varma (25) and Pandya kept the defending champions ticking, but a remarkable ending to their innings gave Namibia hope of an unlikely victory.
From 205-4, India lost Hardik, Shivam Dube (23), Axar Patel (0), Rinku Singh (1) and Arshdeep Singh (2) for just four off their last 11 balls, with Gerhard Erasmus taking 4-20.
But faced with a target of 210, Namibia's chase never got going despite decent starts from openers Louren Steenkamp (29) and Jan Frylinck (22).
From there, no batter managed to score higher than Erasmus' 18, with Bernard Scholtz (4) and Ben Shikongo (0) falling in back-to-back balls from Hardik (2-21) in the 18th over.
Varun Chakaravarthy's outstanding 3-7 ripped through Namibia's lower order before Zane Green hit his own wicket to seal a huge victory for India ahead of their clash with Pakistan on Sunday.

Earlier in the day, Italy claimed their first victory at the T20 World Cup after Justin Mosca and his brother Anthony led them to a thumping 10-wicket win over Nepal.
Nepal were skittled out for 123 as Crishan Kalugamage starred with figures of 3-18, before unbeaten knocks from Justin Mosca (60) and Anthony Mosca (62) sealed the win with more than seven overs to spare.
Data Debrief: India send out a statement
After defeating the United States in unconvincing fashion in their first game, India's display here was a statement of their intentions.
India's margin of victory was their highest at the T20 World Cup, surpassing the 90-run triumph they managed against England in the 2012 edition.
They have now won their last 10 T20 World Cup matches, extending the longest winning streak of any team in the history of the tournament, and they will be keen to keep that run going in their highly anticipated clash with Pakistan.
