Jaylen Brown matched his career high with 50 points and the Boston Celtics completed a successful West Coast swing with a 146-115 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night.

Brown had 19 points in the third quarter. Derrick White added 29 points and Anfernee Simons had 15 as the Celtics went 4-1 on the trip and 3-1 against Western Conference teams.

Brown was 18 of 26 from the floor, while White went 10 of 20. The duo combined to go 11 of 22 from lone range as Boston shot 24 of 51 (47.1 percent) from deep.

Kawhi Leonard and John Collins each scored 22 points as the Clippers saw their season-best, six-game winning streak end. Collins made his first eight shots in the game and went 9 of 10 from the floor.

Derrick Jones scored 19 points for Los Angeles before leaving in the fourth quarter with an apparent right knee injury. James Harden had 18 points and 12 assists, and Ivica Zubac had four points and seven rebounds in 21 minutes after missing the previous five games with a sprained left ankle.

Rockets' Sengun sprains ankle in loss

Anthony Davis had 26 points and 12 rebounds and Max Christie scored 24 points, hitting 4 of 6 3-pointers, to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 110-104 victory over the Houston Rockets, who lost center Alperen Sengun to a sprained right ankle.

The Mavericks snapped a four-game losing streak, matching their longest of the season. They have won six of their last seven home games, two of those against the Rockets.

Sengun left just 64 seconds into the game when he landed awkwardly after grabbing a defensive rebound and fell to the court. As he got into a sitting position, he grabbed his ankle. Sengun limped to the bench and was soon led to the locker room. The team said at halftime that he wouldn't return to the game.

Dallas saw a 17-point lead early in the fourth quarter shrink to 106-101 with 1:07 to play before Christie, fourth in the NBA shooting 45.9% from downtown, drove in for a dunk.

Kevin Durant scored 34 points, playing the entire second half with four fouls, to lead the Rockets, who had a four-game winning streak snapped. Amen Thompson had 20 points and 12 rebounds while Tari Eason had 19 points and 10 rebounds.

Deuce McBride scored 20 points, OG Anunoby had 19 and Mikal Bridges added 12 for New York.

Trailing 38-37, the 76ers produced a 9-0 run and grabbed the lead for good. They went ahead by 13 before the Knicks scored the last five points of the second quarter and cut their deficit to 66-58 at halftime.

Embiid’s two free throws gave Philadelphia its largest lead at 96-77 with 3:13 remaining in the third quarter.
