Just three days after an argument between Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr and Draymond Green, Steph Curry said that tensions between the two had been relieved.

Curry led the Warriors to a 126-116 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Christmas Day, finishing with 23 points as Golden State put together a third-straight victory in the NBA.

Across their latest winning run, an altercation between Kerr and Green in the third quarter of their triumph over the Orlando Magic after the latter produced a turnover.

As Kerr tried to get Green away from a conversation with officials, the two had a heated exchange as the four-time All-Star left the bench for the locker room.

But against the Mavericks, Green put his differences with his coach to one side with seven points and five boards, though it was his team-mates who did the heavy lifting.

"Them two are [now] in a better place," Warriors star Curry said on Thursday. "Stuff like that happens.

"They have the equity of years and years of a relationship that has had its moments. They handled yesterday at practice well, and we handled today well as a team."

Ahead of their win over Dallas, Kerr and Green apologised to the team for their role in the argument that overshadowed their triumph over the Magic.

The Warriors coach also apologised for his part in the interaction in his news conference, saying that he wanted Green to close out his career with Golden State.

But on the court, Al Horford returned from injury and sank four first-quarter 3-pointers, while Jimmy Butler tallied 14 points, nine rebounds and nine assists overall.

Butler was also asked about the incident between the pair and said that their disagreement was good for the team and showcased that they have the passion to succeed.

"It ain't going to be quiet all the time," Butler said of the Green and Kerr argument.

"It's OK. You've got two fierce competitors that have won it together and want to continually win. I expect that to happen.

"I like that. Y'all yell at each other. Turned me on a little bit. I'm not gonna even lie. I like that. I like the confrontation. It's good for us."
