Thunder boosted by return of Williams after injury lay-off
The Oklahoma City Thunder are set to be boosted by the return of Jalen Williams after his injury lay-off.
Williams, who starred for the Thunder last season, averaging 21.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.1 assists.
However, he sustained a torn wrist ligament in last season's championship run, and has not played since undergoing surgery in July.
But the 24-year-old is now off the injury report and in line to feature for the first time this season when OKC take on the Phoenix Suns on Friday.
The Thunder have hardly struggled in Williams' absence.
They are only the fifth team in the NBA to go 18-1 to start a season, and hold the best point differential through 19 games in the competition's history.
