Scheffler focused on his own performance as Young leads Cadillac Championship
Scottie Scheffler is simply focusing on his own performance as he attempts to chase down Cameron Young in the final round of the Cadillac Championship in Miami.
Young is six shots clear of the field at Doral's Blue Monster Course at 15 under for the tournament, with Scheffler, Kim Si-woo and Kristoffer Reitan tied for second.
Having already built a big lead across the first two rounds on Thursday and Friday, Young carded a steady two-under round of 70 on Saturday.
Scheffler inched one stroke closer to his compatriot with a three-under 69, and he has recent experience of outperforming Young on day four, having bettered his final round at the Masters by five shots en route to finishing second behind Rory McIlroy.
But Scheffler knows he cannot control how his rival performs, saying: "The tournament is in his hands right now.
"I can go out and have a really good round, and if he has another really good round, he's going to be a tough guy to catch.
"All I can do is go out and try and have a great round and see where that leaves me."

It remains to be seen what effect the weather will have on Sunday's final round, with more than an inch of rain expected to fall on the course.
Tournament organisers have already moved up the schedule for the fourth round, hoping to avoid the worst of the downpour.
