Already facing an 0-3 deficit in the WNBA Finals, the Phoenix Mercury will be without leading scorer Satou Sabally due to a concussion when they try to avoid being swept by the Las Vegas Aces on Friday.

Sabally scored 24 points before getting injured in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's 90-88 loss that gave Las Vegas a commanding 3-0 lead in the series.

Acquired from the Dallas Wings in a four-team trade last February, Sabally was an All-Star for the third time in her career in her first season with Phoenix and led the Mercury with 16.3 points per game while also averaging 5.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.3 steals in 39 regular-season appearances.

The No. 2 overall pick by the Wings in the 2020 WNBA Draft, Sabally tops the Mercury with 19 points per game in the play-offs and has pulled down seven rebounds a contest.

Phoenix is making their first WNBA Finals appearance since 2021, while the Aces are one victory away from securing their third WNBA title after winning back-to-back championships in 2022 and 2023.
