Jokic: Nuggets need to move 'collectively in one direction' after Portland win
Nikola Jokic reiterated the importance of the Denver Nuggets staying focused for the remainder of the NBA season.
The Nuggets earned a second consecutive win with their 128-112 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers, with Jokic leading their charge.
He finished with 22 points, 14 rebounds and 14 assists for his NBA-leading 28th triple-double of the season, though Denver impressed in attack, with seven players scoring in double figures.
Jamal Murray also got 22, with Aaron Gordon, Cameron Johnson, Christian Braun, Peyton Watson and Bruce Brown also impressing.
The Nuggets have struggled in recent months due to injuries to key players, but even with players starting to return, Jokic highlighted the importance of maintaining their momentum.
"To stay healthy and get collectively in one direction and get everybody on board," Jokic said.
"Sacrifice if you need to sacrifice. Play harder if you need to play harder."

Watson was the latest player to return and, having averaged 14.9 points per game prior to his injury, he got 14 off the bench on Sunday.
With the team getting back to their full strength, Watson is excited about what they can achieve in the rest of the season.
"Just do everything the right way," Watson said about the team mentality for the remaining games.
"We know that we've got a great team, and it's been a while since we've had our full team. I think when we're healthy, nobody in the league can beat us."
