Italy overcome Austria to reach Davis Cup semi-finals
Italy edged closer to a Davis Cup three-peat as they dispatched Austria to reach the semi-finals.
Matteo Berrettini and Flavio Cobolli made light work of Jurij Rodionov and Filip Misolic, respectively, on Tuesday.
The duo both triumphed in straight sets, with Berrettini winning 6-3 7-6 (7-4) and Cobolli prevailing 6-1 6-3 in Bologna.
Those wins ensured Italy did not miss the absences of Lorenzo Musetti and world number two Jannik Sinner.
Italy will take on Belgium on Friday for a place in the final.
Spain, who are without Carlos Alcaraz after his late withdrawal, face Czechia before Argentina take on Germany on Thursday.

Data Debrief: Three-peat hopes firmly on track
Italy are aiming to become the first nation to win three successive editions of the Davis Cup for 53 years.
The United States, between 1968 and 1972, were the last team to win the title in three straight editions.
Italy have won the Davis Cup three times, with their first success coming in 1976. They have reached the semi-finals on four straight occasions.
