Josh Giddey called the Chicago Bulls’ 113-11 win against the Philadelphia 76ers “one of the best wins that I've ever been a part of” as they overcame a 24-point deficit.

The largest comeback win in the NBA this season so far saw the Bulls move to 6-1, equalling their best start to a campaign since the 2021-22 season, when they last made the playoffs.

Giddey produced 29 points, 15 rebounds and 12 assists in the win, becoming the first Bulls player to record back-to-back triple-doubles since Michael Jordan.

The guard’s most important assist of the game came with 3.2 seconds remaining on the clock as he fired the ball to Nikola Vucevic in the corner, and the veteran center drained the shot to put his side ahead.

Giddey was elated with the nature of the victory, praising the way the Bulls responded in the final moments of the game.

“Tonight was one of the best wins that I've ever been a part of,” Giddey said after the game.

“Just in terms of how bad we were down that early in the third. And to gut that one out and dig ourselves out of the hole that we did was unbelievable.”

Vucevic contributed with 19 points and 10 rebounds, with his only made three-pointer being the game-winner.

Despite earning the win in the end, the 35-year-old insisted the Bulls cannot make comeback wins a habit.

“It's also important that we understand this is not how you can become a good team by getting down 20 and then waking up and start to finally play,” said Vucevic.

“We have to play better from the beginning. This game was a great example of what we can be when we play the way we need to.

“So hopefully we can use this as a good learning experience for us and understand that we have to do this for 48 minutes.”
