'LeBron is a social-media junkie' – Brooks hits out at Lakers star
Dillon Brooks has branded LeBron James a "social-media junkie" after his clash with the Los Angeles Lakers superstar on Sunday.
James had to be held back when Brooks sent a ball in his direction during the Lakers' 116-114 victory over the Phoenix Suns, with both players receiving technical fouls.
Brooks was ejected for bumping into James after sinking a 3-point shot to put the Suns ahead with 12.2 seconds remaining.
It was the latest incident in a growing feud between the two players, with the Suns wing having previously criticised James for wanting players to "bow down" to him.
When asked why he thought James was upset with his actions, Brooks said: "I guess he's a social-media junkie. He's all over the socials, so I guess he sees what I'm saying.
"Like I've said, he thinks that people should think a way about him or say nothing about him or play a certain way, and I'm not going to play that way.
"He gets in his moods or in his modes or whatever it is. I'm all for that."
The Lakers were propelled to the win by a trio of strong showings

The Lakers moved to 18-7 for the season with that win and take on the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City on Thursday.
Coach J.J. Redick met with James and Luka Doncic to request greater input on the defensive end from his star players, with the Lakers 5.5 games back from the reigning champions, the Oklahoma City Thunder, in the Western Conference.
"We talked about a lot, not just that, but he was right," Doncic said of the meeting.
"You've got to get a little bit more, especially from the star players. So that's on us. That's on me. And we just got to give more, especially at the start of the game. We got to start the game better.
"I think in Phoenix, we did a pretty good job. The plan was focused on ourselves and defensive mentality, so I think we did a pretty good job.
"Phoenix is one of the most physical teams in the NBA, so we did a pretty good job there."
The Suns and the Lakers will do battle again on Tuesday.
