Caitlin Clark says she had the belief that she was going to have a good game before enjoying a record-breaking outing for the Indiana Fever.

Clark became the first player in WNBA history to finish a game with 45 points and 10 assists as the Fever earned a 110-107 victory over the Seattle Storm.

It was a record-breaking game all around for Clark, who scored a career-high tally by notching the first 40-10 game in the WNBA.

She also became the fastest player in the competition to make 200 career 3-pointers, doing so in 74 games and breaking the previous mark of 81 set by Katie Smith.

Clark, who got her fifth double-double of the season, shot 11-of-18 from the field, 6-of-10 from 3-point range and hit 17 of 19 free throws to set a franchise scoring record.

"Some nights, like, you know you have it – even before the ball tips," Clark said.

"I felt like it was going to be one of those for me.

"I feel like you just have to believe you're going to have those type of nights, and you have to visualize having those types of nights. And I feel like that's what I did."

It was Clark's fourth game with 30 points and 10 assists, but she also had four steals and two blocks, including a vital one late on that set the Fever on their way to the victory.

The Storm, who set a team record for points scored in a normal-time loss, had led 88-82 after three quarters, but Clark got 16 points in the fourth.

"Just greatness right here, man," said Fever center Makayla Timpson.

"She [Clark] does some crazy stuff out there on the court, man."
