Andoni Iraola expects Bournemouth's Premier League fixture against Tottenham on Wednesday to be Antoine Semenyo's final game for the club.

Semenyo reportedly has a £65m release clause in his current contract that can be activated by interested parties during the first two weeks of the January transfer window.

Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool were also linked with a move for the in-form winger, but the Ghana international has reportedly chosen City as his next destination.

Semenyo has 12 Premier League goal contributions this season (nine goals, three assists), a total only City's Erling Haaland (23) and Brentford's Igor Thiago (15) can better.

And Iraola believes Semenyo will make his final appearance for the Cherries when they welcome Spurs to the Vitality Stadium.

"I don't know what's going to happen tomorrow or the next two, three days, but I've asked before coming here just to tell me," Iraola said.

"Otherwise, I will look foolish there talking about Antoine and then [he leaves]. And that's the situation in this moment of the day.

"I think it could be the last game. That is my personal opinion, but there is nothing agreed and nothing signed.

"It is my personal opinion as I understand the market and the noise, but there is nothing agreed right now. He right now, he is our player and I hope it continues."

Following their 1-0 victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in August, Bournemouth are looking to complete the league double over Spurs for the first time.

However, the Cherries are winless in their last 11 Premier League games (D5 L6). It's their longest run without a win within a single top-flight campaign, while only once overall have they gone longer (between May and October 2023).
