Liverpool have announced the loan signing of Jennifer Falk from BK Hacken.

The goalkeeper will represent the Reds for the remainder of the 2025-26 season as they look to avoid relegation from the Women’s Super League.

Falk made headlines at the 2025 Women’s Euros when Sweden’s quarter-final tie against England went to a penalty shoot-out.

The 32-year-old saved four kicks in that shoot-out but also missed one of her own as England progressed to the last four and eventually won the competition.

She is Liverpool's second signing from Hacken this month, after they completed a permanent deal for midfielder Alice Bergstrom.

“I'm very happy and very excited,” Falk told the club's website.

“It's been a dream I've had, to play in this league, and this is a really big club, so I'm really happy.

“I think the environment here is amazing, it's very cosy but it's big and it has everything that you could need. It was a nice feeling just seeing everything.

“I always try to be myself, and I am very vocal and driven, and I'll just try to do the same things here that I have done before.”

Liverpool are bottom of the WSL table after 11 games, with just three points and no wins to their name thus far.

They were also thrashed 9-1 by Chelsea in the League Cup last time out, and they get their league campaign back underway on January 11 against the London City Lionesses.
