India thrash Zimbabwe by 90 runs to clinch T20I series win
India have clinched a T20I series victory over Zimbabwe after a 90-run win on Saturday.
Ishan Kishan and Tilak Varma starred for India, who successfully defended their total of 219-5 to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.
India were put in to bat first and lost openers Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (20 off nine) and Abhishek Sharma (8) in the powerplay, with Blessing Muzarabani (1-36) removing the latter.
Shreyas Iyer (25) steadied the ship with Kishan (81 off 44) before being dismissed by Brian Bennett (1-22), but Tilak Varma (60 not out) came in and formed a stunning 94-run partnership off just 44 balls with Kishan.
Zimbabwe looked to make a fast start to their chase, though Bennett made 32 off 19 deliveries before edging behind off Yash Thakur (2-30).
Tadiwanashe Marumani (24) and Brad Evans (19) could not build on their good starts lower down the order, while Abhishek (3-17) was India's surprise star with the ball as Zimbabwe were bowled out for 129 in 17.5 overs.

Normal service resumes for India
Although India were favourites heading into this series and expected to defeat Zimbabwe, it is still an important win for the Men in Blue.
Humbling defeats to Ireland and England put the pressure on captain Iyer, whose side were at their ruthless best in Harare.
India have now won their first T20I series since January, when they won 4-1 against New Zealand ahead of the T20 World Cup, and will now look for a series sweep.
There was some disappointment for India on Saturday as Prince Yadav (2-10) picked up a hamstring injury; however, that brought Abhishek into the bowling attack, and he took career-best figures.
