
Gray's late jumper lifts Aces over Dream
The Las Vegas Aces stayed hot thanks to a clutch shot by Chelsea Gray.
Gray drained a fadeaway jumper in the lane with 3.6 seconds remaining to lift the Aces to an 85-84 victory over the Atlanta Dream on Sunday.
The win marked the fourth in a row for the defending WNBA champions.
The final basket gave Gray a team-high 21 points, while A'ja Wilson and Chennedy Carter chipped in 20 apiece. Wilson moved into 19th on the WNBA’s career scoring list with 5,844 points, surpassing Las Vegas coach Becky Hammon (5,841).

The Aces (4-1) prevailed despite a forgettable performance by Jackie Young, who was 0 for 12 from the field, 0 of 5 from 3-point range and was held without a point for the first time since 2020, her second WNBA season.
Atlanta's Angel Reese also struggled with her shot, going 1 of 8 from the floor. She finished with nine points and eight rebounds and committed eight of the 13 turnovers for the Dream (2-1).
Allisha Gray led Atlanta with 25 points and eight rebounds, while Te-Hina Paopao scored 19 and rookie Madina Okot contributed 14 points and 11 rebounds for her second double-double.
Clark's big game helps Fever top Storm
Caitlin Clark flirted with a triple-double, finishing with 21 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds to lead the Indiana Fever to an 89-78 victory over the Seattle Storm.
It was Clark's 12th career game with at least 20 points and 10 assists - two more than any other player in WNBA history.

Clark made all nine of her free throw attempts and the Fever (2-2) led by as much as 20 points in the fourth quarter en route to their first home win following two losses in Indiana.
Kelsey Mitchell and reserve Sophie Cunningham each scored 17 for Indiana, which held a 51-36 edge on the boards.
The Storm (1-3) were led by Natisha Hiedeman's 19 points with Flau'jae Johnson adding 14 points despite 3-of-14 shooting.
Sykes scores 38 to power Tempo
Brittney Sykes enjoyed a career-scoring performance and the Toronto Tempo put on a clinic from the foul line in their 106-96 win over the Los Angeles Sparks.
Sykes scored 38 points, besting her previous high of 35 points in 2022, when she played for the Sparks.

The nine-year veteran did most of her damage from the foul line, connecting on all 15 of her free throws.
The Tempo (2-2) were nearly perfect from the charity stripe, making 39 of 42 foul shots.
Rookie Kiki Rice had 19 points in her first start as Toronto won for the first time on the road.
Kelsey Plum led the Sparks (1-3) with 28 points and seven assists, while Dearica Hamby had 21 points and nine rebounds.
