'Everything's going to plan' – Hazlewood expects to return for T20 World Cup
Josh Hazlewood expects to be fit before the start of the T20 World Cup for Australia after missing the Ashes series.
Australia stormed to a 4-1 home victory over England in the Ashes, but Hazlewood was not available as he recovered from injuries.
He was initially ruled out with a hamstring strain before subsequently suffering Achilles soreness during his rehabilitation.
However, Hazlewood was among a series of injured players included in Australia's squad, with Pat Cummins and Tim David also named despite concerns over their fitness.
"Everything's going to plan," Hazlewood told the ESPN Cricinfo website.
"We took a few extra weeks once we couldn't make the test matches. I had a couple of bowls off the half-run last week.
"Running's going well, all the strength stuff's going well, so, yeah, on track."

Australia begin their World Cup campaign against Ireland on February 11.
In Hazlewood's previous 19 matches at the tournament, he has taken 21 wickets, including one four-for.
The 35-year-old will go from the World Cup to the Indian Premier League before Australia prepare to play 21 Tests across 11 months, though Hazlewood says he is not yet looking at how they can manage his workload in the longest format.
"[With] white ball, you can really sit down and nut it out because you know you're involved for four or 10 overs pretty much," he said.
"With the red ball, it is a bit more on the run. You can map out the way you want to train to get ready for that first one, but I think once the tests start, then it's sort of play it by ear and have those conversations on the go."
