Arsenal have confirmed that defender Ben White will miss the rest of their Premier League title run-in after sustaining a knee injury in Sunday's win over West Ham. 

White, who has made 30 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners in 2025-26, is also set to miss England's World Cup campaign.

The 28-year-old was replaced by Martin Zubimendi in the 28th minute of Arsenal's huge 1-0 win at the weekend and was seen leaving the London Stadium in a knee brace. 

In a statement, the club said White has sustained a "significant medial ligament injury" which will rule him out of the last two Premier League games and the Champions League final.

"Our medical team are now managing Ben's recovery and rehabilitation programme, with everyone fully focused on supporting the aim of Ben being ready for the start of our pre-season preparations," the statement added. 

White's injury will provide Mikel Arteta with a decision to make in the right-back position, having initially shifted Declan Rice into that role before introducing Cristhian Mosquera at half-time against West Ham.

Jurrien Timber remains sidelined through injury, so it is likely that Mosquera will deputise in that position for what could be a historic end to Arsenal's campaign.

White had also returned to the England fold under Thomas Tuchel and played for the Three Lions for the first time since 2022 in an international friendly against Uruguay in March. 

He scored England's equaliser in the 1-1 draw at Wembley Stadium, though he also conceded the stoppage-time penalty from which Uruguay equalised.
