Mead to leave Arsenal at the end of the season
Arsenal have announced Beth Mead will leave the club at the end of the season.
Mead joined the Gunners from Sunderland in 2017, but will move on from the Gunners when her contract expires this summer.
The 31-year-old has made 263 appearances for Arsenal, and could feature in two more games this season, finding the back of the net 86 times across those games.
Of those goals, 54 came in the Women's Super League, where Mead also provided 50 assists in 165 games.
Mead is the only player in WSL history to score 50+ goals and provide 50+ assists, tallying 71 goals and 53 assists across her time with Arsenal and Sunderland.

The forward helped Arsenal win the WSL in 2018-19, while she has also won three League Cups with the Gunners, as well as a Champions League and Champions Cup over the last 12 months.
This season, Mead has made just 27 appearances in the WSL and Champions League, with 11 of those coming as a substitute, scoring five goals.
She is set to make her final home appearance against Everton on Wednesday, before closing out the season against Liverpool on May 16.
Manchester City and London City Lionesses are reportedly interested in signing Mead this summer.
Arsenal, meanwhile, also announced Victoria Pelova and Laia Codina will leave the club at the end of the 2025-26 campaign.
