Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Rizwan's half-centuries helped guide Pakistan to a six-wicket win over Sri Lanka and complete an ODI series sweep on Sunday.

It was a solid all-round display, with Mohammad Wasim also taking three wickets as Sri Lanka were skittled for 211 in the 46th over, before Pakistan cruised through the chase.

Pathum Nissanka (24) and Kamil Mishara (29) made a steady start, but it was after their dismissals by Haris Rauf and Wasim (3-47), respectively, that Sri Lanka started to build some momentum.

Sadeera Samarawickrama's 48 propelled them forward, with help from Kusal Mendis' 34, but Faisal Akram (2-42) ended the former's stand to cause the tourists to falter.

Pavan Rathnayake (32) tried to steady the ship, but with none of the lower order hitting double figures, Sri Lanka were soon out in the field.

And Pakistan initially struggled with the bat, with Haseebullah Khan taken for a duck in the fourth over.

However, Zaman plundered 55 off 45 balls as he put on a second-wicket partnership of 74 runs with Babar Azam (34), only for both to be halted by Jeffrey Vandersay (3-42).

Vandersay also trapped Salman Ali Agha (6) lbw, but Pakistan were already comfortable, with Rizwan's unbeaten 61 and Hussain Talat (42), who hit the winning four, getting them over the line to 215-4.

Data Debrief: Pakistan trip up Sri Lanka again

Pakistan have now won 11 of their last 12 men's ODIs against Sri Lanka (L1), including each of their last three meetings.

And Sri Lanka have lost three of their last four men's ODIs in Asia (W1), despite racking up a 50-run opening partnership for the sixth consecutive ODI against Pakistan.
