WNBA: Wilson, Young total 64 points in Aces' win over Valkyries
A'ja Wilson scored 34 points and Jackie Young added 30 - including her team's final 10 points - as the Las Vegas Aces beat the Golden State Valkyries 104-102 on Saturday.
The score was tied at 94 with one minute and 49 seconds remaining, before Young scored on the next five possessions for Las Vegas.
She hit a mid-range pullup jumper for a two-point lead and made a driving layup to make it 98-94. She then sank two free throws on each of the Aces' next three possessions to seal the win.
While Young was in control on the Aces' offensive end, the Valkyries kept it close with a three-pointer by Cecilia Zandalasini with 17 seconds left and another by Tiffany Hayes with seven seconds to play, making it 102-100.
Young's final pair of free throws made it 104-100, and the Valkyries' Kayla Thornton made a long two-pointer for the final score.
Wilson, who injured her wrist earlier in the week, returned to the line-up and made 12 of 16 shots to go with nine of 12 free throws. She added 16 rebounds.
All five Golden State starters scored in double figures, led by Hayes and Janelle Salaun with 16 points each. Temi Fagbenle scored 13, Veronica Burton 11 and Thornton 10. Zandalasini scored 12 off the bench.

Atkins powers Sky past Lynx
Ariel Atkins led the Chicago Sky to an 87-81 victory in the opener of a two-game set with the Minnesota Lynx.
Atkins scored 27 points and hit a clutch pull-up jump shot from 19 feet out with just over two minutes remaining to help the Sky (7-13) win their second in a row after losing their previous two contests, which included an 80-75 defeat at Minnesota last Sunday.
Angel Reese tallied 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Kamilla Cardoso added 17 points and 15 boards for the Sky, who will host the Lynx again on Monday.
Behind Reese and Cardoso, Chicago held a 45-28 rebounding advantage and tallied 28 second-chance points.
Napheesa Collier had 26 points, eight rebounds, five assists, three steals and three blocks for the Lynx, who shot 39.5% and trailed by as many as 15.
Minnesota (18-4) have lost two of three after suffering just two defeats in the season's first 19 games.
