Wales captain Morgan set to miss start of Six Nations
Wales are set to be without captain Jac Morgan for the start of the 2026 Six Nations after he dislocated his shoulder in their autumn series opener against Argentina.
Wales lost to the Pumas at the start of November, before following that up with a win over Japan and a heavy defeat to New Zealand in the two Tests without Morgan.
The 25-year-old has undergone surgery on the injury and faces "four to five months" on the sidelines, with Wales' 2026 Six Nations campaign beginning on February 7.
They will face England in their opener, with the matches against France and Scotland also likely to come too soon for Morgan, who could be in with a chance of returning for their two games in March.
"He's had his operation, it's all gone really well, and he's on the road to recovery," said Ospreys head coach Mark Jones.
"He's in that race now to get back as soon as he can.
"It will be four to five months based on what we've heard, but obviously those things can change; we're just working off that at the moment."
At the Six Nations in 2025, Wales finished bottom of the pile, losing all five of their matches, with Warren Gatland leaving his role as head coach midway through the tournament.
Wales' final autumn international will see them face South Africa on Saturday.
