Wales 0-73 South Africa: Relentless visitors round off 2025 with historic win
South Africa scored 11 tries as they closed out their Autumn Nations Series with a 73-0 win over Wales at the Principality Stadium.
It was a relentless performance from the Springboks, who had 10 different players cross the line with Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu scoring two tries himself as well as nine conversions.
Gerhard Steenkamp got things underway in the eighth minute before Ethan Hooker and Jasper Wiese also got over the line before the half-hour mark in Cardiff.
Morne van den Berg scored in first-half stoppage time, while Wilco Louw, Feinberg-Mngomezulu and Canan Moodie all added to the scoreline in the first 10 minutes of the second period as Wales failed to gain any momentum.
And the onslaught did not stop there, as Andre Esterhuizen got his name on the scoresheet before Feinberg-Mngomezulu added his second try of the game and Ruan Nortje scored the tenth for the Springboks.
Eben Etzebeth rounded off the victory in the 73rd minute, but he was also shown a red before the final whistle after he was caught gouging Alex Mann's eye.
73 - South Africa's 73-0 victory today is the biggest by any side against Wales in Cardiff in men's Test rugby, overtaking England's 54-point win at the Principality Stadium in March of this year (68-14). Comprehensive.

Data Debrief: Wales condemned to record defeat in Cardiff
A humbling 73-0 defeat marks Wales' biggest margin of defeat at the Principality Stadium, while it is also the most points they have ever conceded at the venue.
It was also the first time Wales have not scored at home since a 51-0 loss to France in 1998. This marks their second-worst defeat in history, behind the 96-13 hammering at the hands of the Springboks (also 1998).
And after also beating Ireland, Italy, France and Japan, South Africa have completed an Outgoing Tour with a clean sweep of wins for the second consecutive season.
The Springboks have only lost twice this year, losing to New Zealand and Australia in the Rugby Championship, while they have recorded 13 wins in 2025.
