Tottenham extend Davies contract to 2026
Tottenham have exercised an option to extend Ben Davies' contract until June 2026.
The versatile Wales defender is Spurs' longest serving player having made the switch to North London from Swansea back in 2014.
Davies, 32, has racked up 358 appearances for Spurs. 73 of those have come in Europe and he needs just three more to be Tottenham's highest appearance maker in continental competition.
He became a Europa League winner last month after Spurs defeated Manchester United 1-0 in the final in Bilbao, although he was an unused substitute in the game.
Davies is twice an EFL Cup runner-up and also made the final of the Champions League in the 2018-19 campaign, where they were beaten 2-0 by Liverpool.
With Wales, he needs just five more caps to rack up a hundred appearances for his country, whom he has represented at two European Championships and the 2022 World Cup.
We are delighted to announce that we have exercised the option to extend Ben Davies' contract, which will now run until the summer of 2026
