New Zealand have named breakout back row Wallace Sititi among their replacements ahead of what head coach Scott Robertson expects to be an "epic" meeting with England at Twickenham, though captain Scott Barrett is back in the starting lineup.

While England have registered back-to-back wins over Australia (25-7) and Fiji (38-18) this month, the All Blacks have also impressed.

They beat Ireland 26-13 in Chicago before edging out Scotland 25-17 at Murrayfield, extending their winning streak to five matches.

England – who have won nine matches in a row – named their team for Saturday's showdown on Tuesday, with George Ford, Freddie Steward and Maro Itoje among seven players to earn recalls to the starting XV.

The All Blacks then released their selection on Thursday, with Sititi, who won World Rugby's breakout player of the year for 2024, on the bench.

Robertson has pointed out the importance of finishing strongly against a stacked England side, with Anton Lienert-Brown and Damian McKenzie also on the All Blacks' bench.

Simon Parker starts in place of Sititi, while skipper Barrett is back in the starting lineup after a cut to his leg forced him to miss the win over Scotland.

Robertson said: "Recent games against England have been incredibly close-fought, and both teams are coming off a run of wins, so we are expecting an epic clash on Saturday afternoon. We will embrace the atmosphere and the occasion."

New Zealand XV: Will Jordan, Leroy Carter, Billy Proctor, Quinn Tupaea, Leicester Fainga'anuku, Beauden Barrett, Cam Roigard; Ethan de Groot, Codie Taylor, Fletcher Newell, Scott Barrett (c), Fabian Holland, Simon Parker, Ardie Savea, Peter Lakai,

Replacements: Samisoni Taukei'aho, Tamaiti Williams, Pasilio Tosi, Josh Lord, Wallace Sititi, Cortez Ratima, Anton Lienert-Brown, Damian McKenzie.
