Queensland Reds 12-52 British and Irish Lions: Itoje leads from the front in emphatic win
The British and Irish Lions continued to build momentum ahead of their Tests against Australia with a rampant 52-12 win over Queensland Reds.
After entering half-time with a narrow lead, five tries without reply in the second half saw the Lions cruise to victory, with captain Maro Itoje at the heart of it in Brisbane.
Reds duo Jeffery Toomaga-Allen and Josh Flook scored tries either side of Tommy Freeman's effort inside the opening 25 minutes.
The Lions made two more tries to enter the break 21-12 up, with Finn Russell successfully converting all three of the Lions' scores.
Itoje scored a try just four minutes in the second half, before further efforts from Jac Morgan and Freeman put the Lions out of sight.
The skipper then made a great interception to set Huw Jones up for a terrific solo try, while Garry Ringrose completed the scoring late on.
However, there will be worries in the Lions' camp after Elliot Daly suffered an arm injury.
Daly has played in 11 consecutive Lions games across three different positions and was in the process of playing his way into the Test 23 before leaving the pitch.

Data Debrief: Lions roar in Brisbane
This was the Reds' 15th match against the Lions, with Queensland, who have won twice, one of only two teams other than the Wallabies to have beaten the touring side more than once.
However, despite their bright start, the Reds never looked likely of making it three victories over the Lions.
The Lions made 536 metres in the match, to the Reds' 277, and were successful in 169 of their 195 attempted tackles, helping them to a 31-0 run in the second half and seeing Andy Farrell's side hit another gear following their win over Western Force last time out.
