Marcell Ozuna dominated the Boston Red Sox in MLB on Tuesday, while Starling Marte's Miami Marlins debut was memorable.

Ozuna became the first National League (NL) player to hit three home runs in a game at Fenway Park as the Atlanta Braves crushed the Red Sox 10-3.

He went three-for-five with six RBIs as the Braves, who top the NL East, improved to 21-14.

Making his second career start, Ian Anderson again impressed, striking out eight across six innings.

Traded to the Marlins from the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday, Marte delivered on debut for Miami.

With scores locked at 2-2, Marte homered in the eighth as the Marlins beat the Toronto Blue Jays 3-2.

Dickerson dynamic as Nola shines again

Alex Dickerson hit three homers as the San Francisco Giants destroyed the Colorado Rockies 23-5. Dickerson went five-for-six with six RBIs in the resounding win.

He got plenty of support. Donovan Solano and Brandon Crawford also had six RBIs for the Giants. Dickerson, Solano and Crawford are the first team-mates to each have six RBIs in a game since it became an official stat in 1920, according to STATS.

Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Aaron Nola was in fine form. He struck out nine and conceded just two hits in eight innings in a 6-0 shut-out win over the Washington Nationals.

Brad Miller went four-of-six with seven RBIs as the St Louis Cardinals thrashed the Cincinnati Reds 16-2.

 

Grey day for Gray

Sonny Gray lasted just 0.2 innings for the Reds. He conceded six runs and five hits against the Cardinals.
