New Zealand restore some pride with 50-run defeat of India
Tim Seifert and Mitchell Santner led New Zealand to a 50-run victory over India on Wednesday.
New Zealand were 3-0 down in the five-match series heading into the contest in Visakhapatnam, but they have avoided a series clean sweep.
Opener Seifert was their star with the bat, as he struck 62 from 36 deliveries to set the tone, with Santner then taking 3-26 with the ball to thwart India's chase.
Devon Conway (44) and Daryl Mitchell (39 not out) chipped in with useful contributions too for the Black Caps, who reached 215-7 from their 20 overs.
Matt Henry (1-24) then dismissed Abhishek Sharma with the first ball of India's innings, with Suryakumar Yadav (8) falling soon after.
Rinku Singh (39) and Shivam Dube, who scored a blistering 65 from just 23 balls, offered resistance, but India's hopes took a blow when the latter was run out in the 15th over.
215 on the board in Vizag with Tim Seifert leading the charge with 62 off 36 at the top of the order.

Data Debrief: India fall short of record run
Neither of these teams have ever lost six straight T20Is against the other, but New Zealand were in danger of doing so. However, this victory ensures they avoided that unwanted record.
This also snapped India's five-game winning streak in the shortest format at home.
Seifert, meanwhile, continued his fantastic form as New Zealand look towards next month's World Cup. He has now scored 1,064 runs across his last 30 T20 innings.
