New Zealand 29-19 France: All Blacks fight back to complete clean sweep in Hamilton
New Zealand completed a 3-0 Test series sweep of France with a barnstorming 29-19 victory in Hamilton on Saturday.
Will Jordan, Anton Lienert-Brown, Du'Plessis Kirifi and Brodie McAlister all touched down, as Les Bleus failed to build on a wonderful first-half performance that saw them leading 19-17 with the excellent Nolann Le Garrec contributing 13 of their points.
Le Garrec went over the short side in the ninth minute following a huge French drive and kicked another penalty prior to Jordan racing onto a sensational kick from Cortez Ratima to put the All Blacks on the board.
Antoine Hastoy's drop-goal caught the hosts' defence off-guard and Le Garrec added another six points with the boot after Damian McKenzie had put over a penalty of his own for the All Blacks.
But New Zealand were back within two points prior to break when Lienert-Brown slid over after a huge push for the line, the try counting despite a pretty obvious-looking forward pass from Jordan in the build-up.
There were several near misses in a bruising second half before McKenzie's kick in the air was kept alive by Sevu Reece in a grapple with Leo Barre, with Kirifi reacting quickest to pick up and touch down for his first All Blacks try.
And the cherry atop the cake arrived four minutes from time when Jordie Barrett, a huge doubt for this game, brilliantly broke the lines and offloaded to McAlister to slide over the line, with McKenzie adding the easy extras.

Data Debrief: Jordan closes on Howlett record as All Blacks sweep up
Jordan was not supposed to even start for the All Blacks but was given the nod when Rieko Ioane sustained a hamstring injury.
His score means he is now within eight tries of Doug Howlett's all time All Blacks record of 49.
Meanwhile, New Zealand earned a first series sweep of the French since 2018, a 49-14 triumph in Dunedin doing the damage on that occasion.
This was also the first time the two team had met in Hamilton, with 14 different cities hosting the teams prior to this.
