Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr praised his team's resilience as their injury woes continued during their loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday.

The Warriors lost 127-117 at Chase Center, their fourth consecutive defeat, while they lost four more players to injury.

Veteran trio Draymond Green, Al Horford and Seth Curry all suffered knocks before half-time, while Quinten Post also sprained his left ankle.

Golden State were already without Steph Curry, who missed his 16th consecutive game with a knee injury, while Jimmy Butler is ruled out for the season with an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.

The Warriors are now 32-34 on the season, with their recent slide seeing them drop to ninth in the Western Conference.

"We're going through it," Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. "You saw how hard the guys played and stayed in it. Got the fans into it.

"We can't ask anything more from our players right now. What they're giving effort-wise, playing together. We're about as beaten up as any team I can ever remember."

Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves to victory with 42 points, making four of his nine shots from beyond the arc, eight rebounds and five assists.

He celebrated one of his 3-pointers in front of Steph Curry on the Warriors bench, though Edwards revealed there was no malicious intent behind the action.

"That's my boy," Edwards said. "[I] love Steph, love everything about him. To me, [the] greatest point guard. Love to play against him. If he's not playing, [I] talk a little trash to him on the side."
