Jordan gets first Six Nations start as Scotland change three for Ireland
Tom Jordan will make his first Six Nations start as one of three Scotland changes to the starting XV ahead of Sunday's clash with Ireland.
He will start at centre, while Rory Sutherland, who has not started a Six Nations game since February 2022, has also been selected ahead of Pierre Schoeman, Scotland's usual first-choice loosehead. Jack Dempsey also comes in at number eight.
Schoeman, Stafford McDowall and Jamie Ritchie all drop to the bench, having started their 31-19 win over Italy last Saturday.
Sam Skinner, who was added to the squad earlier this week, is among the replacements, with Jamie Dobie preferred to George Horne as back-up scrum-half.
Scotland have won just four of their 25 matches against Ireland in the Six Nations (L21), with their 16% win rate in this fixture their lowest against any nation in the championship.
Ireland have also won their last 10 Test matches against Scotland, their longest-ever winning run against them.
However, their hosts, who have not won this fixture since February 2017, are looking to win their first two Six Nations matches for just the second time (previously doing so in 2023).

"It would be massive," Sutherland said. "Ireland are a team we hold in very high regard.
"I think there is a little bit of added spice there because it's them, we've fallen short against them, but we've got a lot of respect for them.
"It's a Test we're really looking forward to, and I think it's a Test we'll be well-prepared to win."
