'I haven't stopped shaking' - White excited to link up with Lions after call-up
Scrum-half Ben White says he has not stopped shaking with excitement since finding out he was called up as an injury replacement for the British and Irish Lions.
Tomos Williams has had to withdraw from the Lions tour after suffering a hamstring injury in their first game on Australian soil against the Western Force on Saturday.
It was announced on Monday that White would be his replacement, and he will join the Lions camp from New Zealand, where he had been preparing to face the All Blacks, Fiji and Samoa with Scotland.
White's involvement in the squad means Scotland are now back to having eight representatives, after Zander Fagerson was forced to withdraw through injury.
The 27-year-old has been called up by the Lions for the first time and is thrilled to have received the call from head coach Andy Farrell.
"It's pretty crazy," he told Scottish Rugby, before leaving to join up with the Lions. "I don't think it's quite sunk in yet, to be honest.
"He [Farrell] called me this morning - about an hour ago - and I just haven't stopped shaking since. It's an incredible honour. I'm really excited.

"I was really excited to be on tour with Scotland, and to play for Scotland is amazing, and I was focused on that.
"I guess that someone's looking out for me upstairs. It's falling on my feet.
"Obviously, there's a fair few Scottish boys in the squad, and it'll be great to see those boys as well as also meeting the players that I don't know too well."
The Lions take on Queensland Reds in their next game in Brisbane on Wednesday, with the first of their three Tests against Australia taking place on July 19.
