Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton insists he has no regrets over his move to the team despite enduring a frustrating season.

With just two races remaining in 2025, seven-time Formula One world champion Hamilton sits in sixth place in the Drivers' Championship.

However, he is a whopping 74 points adrift of team-mate Charles Leclerc, having failed to achieve a podium finish since his switch from Mercedes.

Yet Hamilton in no way regrets joining Ferrari.

"I'd be surprised if the other drivers are excited about next year at the end of a season because usually, you don't have a lot of energy at the end," he said ahead of the Qatar Grand Prix.

"You're looking forward to time with family and stuff. In the heat of frustration, often there's a lot of frustration at the end of races when things haven't gone well.

"I'm excited to see what the team build next year.

"I don't regret the decision I've made joining the team. I know it takes time to build and grow within an organisation and [I] expected that."

Hamilton is aiming to avoid failing to achieve a podium finish in a season for the first time in his 18-year F1 career.

Last week, he recorded his worst-ever qualifying session, placing 20th at the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

However, Hamilton is confident the coming weekend will be better.

"I think the car should be pretty decent in terms of speed profile," he added.

"Might be hard to keep up with Red Bull but [I'm] hoping for a better weekend."
