Farrell reveals Lions injury concerns over Gibson-Park and Keenan
British and Irish Lions coach Andy Farrell has revealed Jamison Gibson-Park and Hugo Keenan are in a race to be fit for the team's opening game of their Australia tour.
The Lions touched down in Australia on Sunday ahead of their clash with Western Force at the Optus Stadium this Saturday, hoping to recover from their defeat to Argentina.
Ireland duo Gibson-Park and Keenan missed Leinster's victory in the United Rugby Championship (URC) final with respective injury issues, but were still selected for the Lions.
There was, however, positive news about Scotland centre Huw Jones, who has recovered from an Achilles injury picked up during the Six Nations earlier this year.
"We'll see how they pull up in midweek," Farrell said of Gibson-Park and Keenan.
"Huw Jones is good, he's been training. He trained fully with us last week so he's up and running."

Jones spent two months on the sidelines after Scotland's defeat to France in March before making his comeback for the Warriors against Benetton on May 10.
He retained his place for the game with Leinster a week later, but the injury flared up again, and he has not played since.
Farrell also confirmed that the team against Western Force will mostly be made up of players from Leinster, Bath and Leicester, who joined up with the Lions after last Saturday's United Rugby Championship and Gallagher Premiership finals.
Scotland wing Duhan van der Merwe was pictured with ice on his foot, but Farrell said there were no new injury concerns, with the Lions boss keen not to dwell on the disappointing tour send-off at the Aviva Stadium.
"We're here to build for what's going to be a fantastic Test series. We want to play some good rugby along the way," Farrell added.
"We'll find out more about each other as we keep on going.
"Of course, we'll analyse what went on against Argentina and why, but that's all part of the journey - to understand where we need to go next.
"It's great to be here, this is what it's all about. We're here for a good time. Hopefully we can start this part of the tour off really well on Saturday."
