Duffy's maiden five-for puts New Zealand in control against West Indies
Jacob Duffy led the New Zealand charge as they took control on day two of their first Test against West Indies.
The tourists had impressed on day one, but with the bat, they struggled to put up a fight, leaving them with work to do.
It took only three balls on Wednesday for Jayden Seales to take the last New Zealand wicket of Zakary Foulkes, stopping them at 231.
However, it was Foulkes who struck with an early wicket of his own, dismissing John Campbell in the second over for just one run.
Tagenarine Chanderpaul (52) and Shai Hope (56) both got half-centuries, but the New Zealand bowlers were ruthless – Duffy (5-34) got the first of his maiden five-for by halting the latter's stand with West Indies on 100.
From there, the hosts were on top, with Matt Henry (3-43) dismissing both Roston Chase and Justin Greaves for ducks before Duffy skittled out the lower order. Tevin Imlach (14) and Kemar Roach (10 not out) were the only other players to hit double figures as the Windies slumped to 167.
New Zealand lead by 96 runs at stumps after Tom Latham (14 not out) and Devon Conway (15 not out) got them to 32-0.

Data Debrief: New Zealand find their groove
While New Zealand did not blow anyone away with their batting on day one, they certainly responded well to ensure West Indies could not get a foothold.
Henry has now taken 108 wickets in his last 39 Test innings, recording at least one wicket in each of those.
It was Duffy, on only his second Test appearance, who took the all-important wicket of Hope, who recorded his sixth half-century in red-ball cricket on his 250th West Indies appearance (all formats).
