Jack Draper has announced former three-time grand slam champion Andy Murray will be part of his coaching team for the upcoming grass-court season.

Draper has not played since April, when he was forced to retire from his round of 32 match against Tomas Martin Etcheverry at the Barcelona Open.

The move comes after the Briton parted ways with Jamie Delgado, with Murray expected to take on his second coaching role after spending six months with Novak Djokovic.

Draper, who rose as high as fourth in the ATP rankings last season, has struggled with injuries and will miss the French Open because of a knee tendon problem.

The 24-year-old also withdrew from the US Open at the end of 2025 because of a bruised humerus bone in his serving arm, and has only played eight matches this year.

"I am very grateful for everything Jamie Delgado has done for me over these past six months. He is a world-class coach and a great man," said Draper.

"In the interim, I will continue to be supported by the excellent team at the LTA, with the addition of Andy Murray, who will be supporting me throughout the grass-court season."

A comeback at the start of June in Stuttgart – where Draper won his first ATP title in 2024 – remains a possibility, with Queen's in London taking place a week later.

Should he stay fit, Murray will also be in Draper's corner for Wimbledon, a tournament the Scot won twice, which begins on June 29.
