Clark in best physical condition 'I've ever felt in my career'
Caitlin Clark said she feels "the best I've ever felt in my career" after making more WNBA history on Friday.
The Indiana Fever defeated the Connecticut Sun 111-91 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, with Clark and Kelsey Mitchell both scoring 34 points each in the victory.
It marked the first time in WNBA history that the same team-mates scored at least 30 points in consecutive games, with both Clark and Mitchell also reaching the 30-point mark in the Fever's win over the Chicago Sky.
It was the fourth time overall this season both Clark and Mitchell have scored 30+ points in the same game, extending their WNBA single-season record, while Clark also broke an individual record.
The 24-year-old added 12 assists to her 34 points against the Suns, becoming the first player in WNBA history to record 30+ points and 10+ assists in consecutive games.
Clark was limited to just 13 games last season due to injuries, but she now feels back to her best physical condition.
"[This is] probably the best I've ever felt in my career," said Clark.

"I think it was a battle for the first 20 games for me to really find my confidence again, mostly in my body.
"Now I feel like just playing, not thinking,"
Both Clark and Mitchell received high praise from Fever coach Stephanie White, who compared the duo to Diana Taurasi and Cappie Pondexter, who helped lead the Phoenix Mercury to WNBA titles in 2007 and 2009.
"You think back to those Phoenix days, like they were a dynamic backcourt that could put up big numbers, could both get their own shot, could get other people involved," White said.
"But it's been a long time since we've seen the explosiveness of two players like what Kelsey and Caitlin have been doing, and doing it with remarkable consistency."
