All Blacks make 12 changes for Cardiff Test, Deaves handed Wales debut
New Zealand have made 12 changes to their starting lineup ahead of Saturday's meeting with Wales at the Principality Stadium, though head coach Scott Robertson insists his side are taking their final match of 2025 seriously.
The All Blacks suffered a dramatic 33-19 defeat to England at Twickenham last week, having led 12-0 at one point in the first half.
England scored 25 unanswered points before holding off a late fightback from their visitors as they extended their winning streak to 10 straight Tests.
The All Blacks will bid to shake off that disappointment in Wales this weekend, but only captain Scott Barrett, flanker Simon Parker and Will Jordan, at wing, have kept their places from last week.
Beauden Barrett and Ardie Savea are among the biggest names to be rested, while Peter Lakai and Jordie Barrett are out injured.
New Zealand have won their last 33 matches against Wales, last losing to them in 1953, but Robertson is still wary of the challenge posted by Steve Tandy's side.
"We have a lot to play for this weekend," Robertson said. "We want to put on a performance that reflects the effort and pride we have put in.
"We do not underestimate the passion and resolve that Wales will bring and we know how organised, accurate and ruthless we need to be in return."

Wales, meanwhile, have made five changes to the team that secured an important 24-23 victory over Japan last time out, with Ospreys flanker Harri Deaves winning his first cap.
"We've been impressed with his versatility," Tandy said of Deaves. "He can play 10 and 12 and we feel he's that second pair of hands.
"He's trained well over the last three weeks, so it's exciting for him to get an opportunity."
There is also a first Wales start since March 2023 for centre Joe Hawkins, while Tom Rogers is in for suspended wing Josh Adams.
Props Rhys Carre and Keiron Assiratti have also earned recalls to the starting XV, with Louis Rees-Zammit earning a second start in as many weeks following a near two-year absence as he attempted to pursue a career in the NFL.
