Rahm confident he can 'work out deal' to be eligible for Ryder Cup
Jon Rahm insists he is still confident he can negotiate a deal with the DP World Tour that will keep him eligible to feature in Europe's next Ryder Cup team.
The Spaniard has yet to settle outstanding fines, which are reportedly in the region of £2.5m, for breaching DP World Tour regulations by playing in LIV Golf League events without permission.
Eight players were granted releases by the DP World Tour in February to participate in such events, which also keeps them eligible for the Ryder Cup.
Rahm, however, was not one of those to sign the deal, going as far as to suggest the DP World Tour was "extorting players", though he has since withdrawn his appeal against sanctions imposed.
It does leave his DP World Tour future in doubt and would potentially stop him from adding to his four Ryder Cup appearances, in which he has claimed three titles.
Rahm is in no doubt that an agreement can be reached to ensure he is available to play at Adare Manor next September.
"We keep talking about the DP World Tour and trying to figure out a solution that works best," Rahm said ahead of The Masters. "I didn't think that going the legal route and going to court was good for anybody.

"I have faith in us and the DP World Tour – we're going to find a good solution for both of us.
"I think I already have [compromised]. We've already told them many times. I think this is not the week to be talking about this, this being the first major of the year and how important this is for the game of golf in general and for all of us.
"We keep talking to them, and we keep trying to negotiate. I have given in quite a bit on a few things which I think I made.
"We're going to work it out. It's going to work out. As of now, the DP World Tour is doing what they need to do and following the channels they need to follow, but I'm confident this will be sorted out before I tee it up in September."
