Stephon Castle has been recognised once again for his stellar first year in the NBA.

The league revealed the 2024-25 All-Rookie teams on Tuesday, and the San Antonio Spurs guard was the only unanimous first-team selection.

The announcement came less than three weeks after Castle was named the 2024-25 NBA Rookie of the Year.

Joining Castle on the first team are Atlanta Hawks forward Zaccharie Risacher, Washington Wizards forward Alex Sarr and teammates Jaylen Wells and Zach Edey from the Memphis Grizzlies.

Castle, who led all rookies in total points this season with an average of 14.7 per game, received first team votes on all 100 ballots from the global panel of sportswriters and broadcasters.

Risacher, the runner-up to Castle in Rookie of the Year voting, fell one vote shy of being a unanimous first-team selection.

Wells received 96 votes for the first team, Edey had 73 and Sarr 54.

The inclusion of Wells and Edey made them the first set of teammates to be voted to the first team in the same season since 2019-20, when Brandon Clarke and Ja Morant of the Grizzlies were selected.

The NBA All-Rookie Second Team consists of three centres - the New Orleans Pelicans' Yves Missi, the Miami Heat's Kel’el Ware and the Portland Trail Blazers' Donovan Clingan - along with Chicago Bulls forward Matas Buzelis and Wizards guard Bub Carrington.
