Maguire welcomes potential Man Utd return for Rashford
Harry Maguire believes Marcus Rashford could still stay at Manchester United this summer, if the decision works for both parties.
Rashford was on loan with Aston Villa for the second half of the 2024-25 campaign, while he spent this season with Barcelona as his time in Manchester seemed to be coming to an end.
The 28-year-old helped Barca win LaLiga and the Supercopa de Espana title, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists across all competitions for the Blaugrana.
His 25 direct goal contributions are the fourth-most of any Barcelona player this season, after Lamine Yamal (41), Fermin Lopez (30) and Raphinha (28).
Rashford's form earned him a spot in England's World Cup squad, though his future in the Spanish capital is in doubt after Anthony Gordon's £70m move to Barca.
Rashford reportedly has a £40m release clause available for English clubs, other than Manchester City and Liverpool, though Maguire would welcome his return to the United squad.
"I have an amazing relationship with Marcus and have had some great times with him over the years," Maguire said on The Rest Is Football podcast.

"I know what a wonderful player he can be. I'm sure it’s up to the club and up to Marcus to find a mutual agreement.
"Of course, if Marcus does come back, we want him to come back and play and be happy and confident.
"It needs to be right for himself, it needs to be right for the club, but everyone knows what a great player Marcus can be for whatever club he plays for next season."
Since breaking into the United first team in 2015-16, Rashford has made 287 appearances for the Red Devils.
He has scored 87 goals and provided 40 assists during his time at Old Trafford; United begin their 2026-27 Premier League season against Hull City on August 22.
