Charles Leclerc is determined to end Ferrari's long wait for a drivers' and constructors' titles in Formula One sooner rather than later.

The Monegasque driver joined the Scuderia in 2019, but has yet to win any silverware while driving alongside Sebastian Vettel, Carlos Sainz or Lewis Hamilton.

Ferrari have not topped the constructors' standings since 2008, while their most recent Drivers' Championship win came a year earlier with Kimi Raikkonen behind the wheel.

Leclerc's best season came in 2022, when he finished second behind Max Verstappen, though the Ferrari driver has made an impressive start to the 2026 campaign.

He has finished on the podium in two of the opening three races, while also coming second in the sprint race in China.

Leclerc is third in the standings, 23 points behind leader Kimi Antonelli, while Ferrari trail Mercedes by 45 in the constructors' race.

Although he is unsure whether Ferrari can win something this year, Leclerc hopes to end their duck in the coming seasons.

"Ferrari is family and a team that I've always loved and dreamed of driving for since I was a kid, and this hasn't changed one bit since I joined the team in 2019," said Leclerc.

"So, the passion is still there. Then of course the will to win, and we want to win eventually, and I want to win.

"It's been so many years obviously working with the team to try and come back to the top. It's been a good step forward this year, we are just not yet where we want to be, and we'll keep pushing towards that direction.

"I hope our time will come soon because, it's been a long time since I started and obviously time has passed.

"I'm doing my best and I hope our time will come this year or as soon as possible."
