Iraola hails 'amazing' Scott in victory over Arsenal
Andoni Iraola hailed the "amazing" performance of Alex Scott in Bournemouth's victory over Arsenal on Saturday.
Scott scored the winner as the Cherries won 2-1 at Emirates Stadium, boosting their hopes of qualifying for European football next season.
Bournemouth have now won both of their last two Premier League away games at Arsenal; they had lost each of their first eight away matches versus the Gunners in all competitions before this.
Meanwhile, all four of Scott's Premier League goals for Bournemouth have come at different stadiums: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Vitality Stadium, Molineux, and the Emirates. His three away goals in the competition have all also come in the 74th minute or later.
The 22-year-old missed out on Thomas Tuchel's England squad last month, but Iraola believes Scott's display against Arsenal did not come out of the blue.
"Alex [Scott] has been like this for many months," the Cherries boss told BBC Sport.
"He was amazing. He's in such good form. I'm so happy for him. He's worked a lot to be at this level."

Bournemouth extended their Premier League unbeaten run to 12 games (W5 D7), their outright longest ever streak in the competition.
They also restricted Arsenal to just 0.19 xG from open play – only once have the Gunners had a lower xG in a Premier League home match on record (from 2021-22), registering 0.17 versus Crystal Palace in October 2025.
"We showed great personality to play in a big game and a big stadium. We've been at the level of the game. I'm very happy for the players," added Iraola.
"Defensively, apart from the penalty, we defended those [set-piece] situations. We were quite brave. A complete performance.
"It's a matter of growing into the game. We had very good spells on the ball. We were finding good gaps in the middle."
