Forest set for fourth managerial change of 2025-26 after sacking Dyche
Nottingham Forest are on the lookout for yet another boss this season after Sean Dyche was sacked in the wake of their draw with Wolves.
Forest drew 0-0 with lowly Wolves on Wednesday, despite posting 35 attempts, with 10 of those on target.
It marked the most shots a team had managed without scoring a goal by a team in a Premier League game since Manchester United vs Burnley in October 2016 (38).
Forest had 62.9% possession – it was the 10th time in the Premier League that a side managed by Dyche had at least 60% of the ball, and the former Burnley and Everton manager has not won any of those games.
Around three hours after full-time, Forest confirmed Dyche had been dismissed. Early reports on Thursday are linking them with a move for ex-Wolves boss Vitor Pereira.
"The owner has been fair to me, without a shadow of a doubt," Dyche had told reporters after the Wolves game, when asked if he feared Evangelos Marinakis would sack him.
"If anyone chooses to change in football now, that's their decision. We've all seen it.
"People can demand change, and then it's always whether they change or not. I just work very hard. I care about this club. I've made that clear. I'm working very hard.

"If the owner wants to make a change, then that's up to him, and that's the way football is now, that's just the reality of it.
"But I'm not questioning the owner here. He's been absolutely fair with me from the beginning to the end, and I've been fair with him and told him the truth every step of the way.
"Owners are owners. They don't warm you up, it just comes, if that's the way it goes. I'm a realist. I understand the noise here has changed significantly since the last few games.
"And that's the only thing I'm frustrated about as it's not a terrible run. But that's still the modern way football is.
"Demand is high. Demand is getting higher and higher and higher and higher. Expectation immediately grows, expectation grows.
"So if people will change it, and the owner wants to change, that is entirely up to him, but there's no lack of respect for me to the owner on how he's been.
"He's been first class for me since I've been here. And if he wants to make change, that is entirely up to him and if the fans want to change, that's entirely up to them. All I do is work very, very hard at a club that I care about."
Forest have now sacked three coaches this season: Nuno Espirito Santo, Ange Postecoglou and Dyche.
They are 17th in the Premier League, three points above West Ham.
Dyche made a strong start after replacing Postecoglou in October, and claimed valuable points, including a 3-0 win at Anfield.
However, Forest have won just three of their last 10 games in all competitions. Dyche leaves with a 33.3% win rate in the Premier League, having averaged 1.2 points per game.
Forest are next in action on February 19 when they take on Fenerbahce in the Europa League.
