Edwards lauds Wolves' fight and courage after spirited comeback
Rob Edwards hailed Wolves' united front after they extended their unbeaten league run to three matches with a draw at Brentford.
Wolves had found themselves two goals down after Michael Kayode and Igor Thiago struck in the first half, only for the Premier League's bottom club to roar back.
Adam Armstrong finished past Caoimhin Kelleher prior to half-time before substitute Tolu Arokodare sealed a share of the spoils with a header just three minutes after coming on.
Wolves have now come back to draw on each of the last two occasions they've found themselves 2+ goals down in a Premier League game (also v Arsenal in February), after losing on each of the previous 22 occasions they were two or more down before that.
The Opta supercomputer has, however, consigned them to relegation in 2025-26 in its season simulations, though Edwards lauded his team for their continued efforts.
"Yeah, we were. I thought the energy in the stadium and the feeling in the stadium was we were the team on top, we were pushing," Edwards told Sky Sports.
"We hit the post, we hit the bar, and I thought it was an excellent performance.
"I'm really proud of the lads. It's hard to say when you've been 2-0 down but I felt we could've won the game tonight.
"I'm really proud after coming back against this team away from home. It's really difficult, you can see how well they're doing this season.

"It shows the fight, the courage, the quality, the spirit that's in the group.
"The club at the moment, even though we're in this position, it actually feels united, and we all know what we want to do going forward.
"We want to find a winning team again and there's a long way to go, but we're going the right way about it."
Edwards was also thrilled about the impact of Arokodare off the bench, with the Wolves striker also hitting the crossbar after hauling his side level.
He netted his third top-flight goal of 2025-26, with two of them being equalisers after coming off the bench and all three coming against London sides.
"The players are, and we owe it to the football club, ourselves, the fans to keep fighting all the way until the 38th game, so we'll do that," Edwards added on Wolves' fighting spirit.
"We spoke a lot today about the impact the subs can have, and they have been in recent weeks, whether that is scoring goals or having an impact, and we got that again tonight.
"All the lads that came on were really effective. It is a squad game. Really pleased for Tolu, but all the lads were great."
Wolves could have a huge say in the relegation battle.
Their next three fixtures see them face West Ham, Leeds United and Tottenham, though they do not play again until April 10.
"We know that's a big game [West Ham], they all are," Edwards said.
"We'll get some time off, and then there will be a mixture of good training weeks and a friendly in there as well to make sure we prepare in the right way.
"We've never had a 25-day break in the season before, so it will be a new one for all of us."
