Vasseur: Hamilton and Leclerc focused on delivering after Mexico squabble
Frederic Vasseur is hoping Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton can "turn the page" following a meeting after last week's incident on the opening lap of the Mexico City Grand Prix.
Hamilton started on pole at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez but was immediately put under pressure by the Red Bull of Max Verstappen and Leclerc during the first lap.
Leclerc attempted to overtake his team-mate and, in doing so, forced both drivers off the track, opening the door for Verstappen to go on and win his third race of the season.
The incident resulted in Hamilton being critical of Leclerc, saying that internal discussions were required to clearly define Ferrari's rules and avoid similar scuffles in the future.
And ahead of this weekend's Sao Paulo Grand Prix, Vasseur confirmed talks had been held between the pair, reiterating that the team comes before individuals' own aims.
"We did it [talked] yesterday evening because I had to fly back to Europe between the two races, but it went well," said Vasseur at Friday's team principals press conference.
"It was good to discuss, good to clarify my position and their position – that it was good to do. Now we turn the page, and we are focused on the next one."

When asked about the details of the meeting, Vasseur added: "The guidelines are still the same.
"They accumulated perhaps a bit of frustration because they are starting each weekend side by side, and you have a kind of accumulation of facts.
"But at the end of the day, the guidelines are always the same – it's that they need to respect each other.
"They are two competitors with a fighting spirit, for sure, but they need to have respect for the other one.
"But mainly and firstly, they need to respect the brand, the team, the people working at home, the people working on track.
"I think we are putting a lot of effort into this, and the message was clear and will stay clear."
Hamilton got off to a strong start to the weekend on Friday, finishing fourth in the first practice session behind Lando Norris, new world champion Kimi Antonelli and Verstappen.
Leclerc sat out the first session, with Dino Beganovic putting his Ferrari in 21st, but he returned to take seventh in the second session, one place behind Hamilton.
Hamilton (Ferrari) is set to make his 400th appearance in Formula One this weekend, with only Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso (445 appearances in Brazil) previously reaching this milestone in the history of the championship.
The seven-time world champion also has a good record around the circuit. No driver has won as many points at Interlagos than Hamilton's 188.
