Rangers 4-2 Dundee United: Rohl's side go top after nervy Ibrox victory
Rangers returned to the Scottish Premiership summit for the first time in two years after they held out for a nervy 4-2 win against Dundee United at Ibrox Stadium.
Bojan Miovski's 85th-minute strike derailed any hopes of a late comeback by Dundee, but Hearts can return to the top of the standings with a win over Livingston on Sunday.
The home fans were celebrating in the 30th minute when Ryan Naderi beat Ashley Maynard-Brewer before Dujon Sterling doubled Rangers' lead five minutes before the break.
But Dundee went into half-time in the ascendency after Amar Fatah pulled one back, though Ibrox was back on its feet seven minutes after the restart thanks to Thelo Aasgaard.
Aasgaard was on hand to tuck Djeidi Gassama's cross to the back post into the net, but Jim Goodwin's side hit back with 18 minutes left through substitute Zachary Sapsford.
Iurie Iovu then headed off a post with six minutes to go as Rangers threatened to throw away victory, but the tension was eased among the home support in the closing stages.
Having replaced Aasgaard 11 minutes earlier, Miovski sealed the win as he fired past Dave Richards from the edge of the box to round off a quick counter led by Youssef Chermiti.
Full-Time, Rangers 4-2 Dundee United.

Data Debrief: Rangers Rohl on at Ibrox
The Opta supercomputer now assigns Rangers a 26% chance of winning their first top-flight title since 2020-21, and should they overhaul both Hearts and Celtic, they will be hoping they can continue to rely on their impressive home form.
Rangers have now won 11 of their 13 home league games under Danny Rohl (D2), more than any other Scottish Premiership side since his first such match in charge in October.
They also extended their unbeaten league run against Dundee to 13 matches (W9 D4), and they were deserving of their win here, having registered an expected goals (xG) total of 3.37 from their 21 shots, 10 of which were on target, compared to their opponents' tally of 1.34 from their 13 attempts.
