South Africa completed an emphatic win over Zimbabwe in the second Test in Bulawayo.

The World Test champions won by an innings and 236 runs after their bowling unit made the most of Wiaan Mulder's mammoth score of 367.

Zimbabwe started day three on 55-1 in their second innings after the visitors enforced a follow-on.

Takudzwanashe Kaitano (40) and Nick Welch (55) got off to good starts but were both caught off the bowling of Senuran Muthusamy (3-77).

Captain Craig Ervine (49) was dismissed just short of a half-century after he edged Corbin Bosch's (4-38) delivery to wicketkeeper Kyle Verreynne.

The match finished with Player of the Match and Series Mulder taking the catch to remove Tanaka Chivinga (22) for the final wicket.

Data Debrief: Ten in a row for South Africa

Following their 2-0 series sweep over Zimbabwe, and their World Test Championship victory against Australia, South Africa have now won 10 consecutive Test matches.

Zimbabwe's 328-run defeat in the first Test was also their heaviest defeat by runs in their history.

Things did not get much better for their batting lineup here, with Mulder, who plundered a new national record of 220 boundaries in one innings, only scoring 23 fewer runs than the hosts' entire team across both of his knocks.
